SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS
Opening Doors for BBH Graduates
These funds provide scholarships and awards to students in the district. Some of the awards are provided by the proceeds from the endowed funds and others are made available as a result of the Foundation's successful fundraising efforts. The recipients are chosen by members of the district's faculty and staff (not the Foundation). At the high school, all students who complete the Guidance Department's general scholarship application form are eligible to be considered for Foundation scholarships and awards.

In Their Own Words
"Calevich Memorial Scholarship was started in honor of Bette and Tom, my parents. My father worked in engineering for 46 years and loved engineering and created patents for a couple of items and we're so proud that Madeline is going into engineering and follow in his footsteps."
— Bette Calevich, Calevich Memorial Scholarship
"I'm so honored to be the recipient of this scholarship and I'm excited to pursue biomedical and chemical engineering in the future. Those are the two majors I want to have and I'm so excited to represent a female in engineering. I'm excited to see what comes in the future."
— Madelyn Manley, Bette and Thomas Calevich Memorial Scholarship Recipient
"This means a ton to me and my family because I've been playing basketball my whole life and my parents just taught me how to play nice and to be respectful to all my coaches and players so that's what it means to me and I'm really excited to receive the award."
